Anny Ogrezeanu: From The Voice to Debut EP “Dreams & Delusions (Vol. 1)”

German-Romanian singer Anny Ogrezeanu, winner of the twelfth season of The Voice of Germany (2022), is now making bold moves as a solo artist with the release of their first EP “Dreams & Delusions (Vol. 1)”. 

A journey of voice and vision

Anny grew up in Wachtberg near Bonn, and after several applications went on to win The Voice of Germany in 2022. 

Winning the show catapulted them into the spotlight. Soon afterwards, they featured with Calum Scott on the duet “Run With Me” released 4 November 2022. 

The first own single: “Out To Get Us”

In late 2024 Anny released their first fully own single: Out To Get Us. The track is a bold declaration of identity and strength—“For being who we are” becomes a refrain about breaking out of stereotypes and letting one’s voice be heard. This single marks the moment Anny moved from winner of a TV show to an artist with their own narrative and musical identity.

Building the momentum: singles & story-telling

Following “Out To Get Us”, Anny released more songs throughout 2025 which expand on personal themes: identity, dreams, struggles, hope. On their official site, Anny writes:

“In ‘Out To Get Us’, ‘Light On’, ‘Try Anyway’ and ‘Kailey’ I write about life and everything that moves me – about ADHD, being gender-queer and having too big dreams.”
